International Animation Day 2022
The Association of Animation Artists Kenya (a3k) organized a challenge for the International Animation day 2022. Kenya was counted amongst the countries that would participate in the initiative themed Beyond the Craft. The association run an animation advocacy campaign as a competition to be premiered during the International Animation Day at USIU-Africa.
We had fun taking part in this challenge in which we emerged the winners of the competition.
The character design for this competition was based off a design by Jeremy Mwambu.
The initial concept for this challenge was to have a "drunken master". Thoughtful feedback had us change its direction especially because of the messaging towards the hustler- Bill Munene
